No longer do women want a discreet little oomph there, they are asking and financing breast implants which are bigger. This may be as true judging from the fact, this is a breast obsessed society and even men, when you get right down to it, seem to love the bigger ones better. At least, they are looking at the big breasts all the time. What’s happening is that women are going from an A cup size to a D cup size in droves.

Women with small breasts often don’t feel confident about their breast size and it affects every part of their lives. This is not just a case of several women feeling this way, it is a case of many women feeling this way, enough that it can be called a trend. Women, whether they can afford it or not, are seeking out plastic surgeons that specialize in breast implants and then looking to finance breast implants. Big, apparently nowadays, is better.

According to one company, Cloverleaf Medical, a major distributor of breast implants in England, they have reported that its larger breast implants have increased in sales by 20 per cent during the last five years.

However, some plastic surgery organizations are concerned about the greater the chance of complications. Breast implant surgeries are climbing in popularity as well. In England, the number of breast implant surgeries has increased by 30 per cent since last year. Women as young as their late teens and early 20s are now demanding breast implants. One doctor reported that when he asks his patients to try on an E cup bra, some do change their minds about cup size. However, it is still the case where many women are demanding a larger cup size no matter what it looks like, natural or not.

What makes it easier for these women seeking a breast implant procedure, is that is it now simple to obtain financing for breast implants from various companies in the U.K, Canada and the United States. There are many companies available which provide financing for all types of cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures these days and they are offering easy, manageable repayment terms, with rates depending on your overall credit score. Not bad if you are seeking breast implants of whatever size you want.

Financing Breast Implants

Plastic or cosmetic surgery can be an expensive process for most individuals but there are options available to assist people who want this type of elective surgery. Health insurance will only pay for medically necessary procedures. This is not an option for someone seeking breast augmentation of any sort including breast implants. Luckily, there are many options available for financing breast implants.

One breast implant financing option that may be available is that some surgeons will provide fiancing for breast implants. They will set up an instalment plan which may include an interest rate being charged in the total cost. Other surgeons are associated with finance companies that will offer the client loans with low rates of interest and payment plans for breast implants. The total amount of the fee may also include administration charges. This option is available to those with a good credit history. However, a person with a not so great credit history can also get a loan for breast implant financing if they have a co-signor. Some of these companies will also create an interest rate on the loan based on your credit history. Those with a good credit score will be able to obtain a lower rate of interest.

It is also possible to place your breast implant surgery on your credit card. But the drawback to this is whether your credit limit is high enough to cover the breast implant procedure and you probably already know that the interest is quite high on some credit cards – much higher than a breast implant financing company would charge.

Without any type of financing options available for these types of plastic or cosmetic surgery, less people would seek this kind of procedure. Most of these financing companies have websites and you can apply on the internet or by phone and usually obtain an answer as quickly as in 15 minutes to a week’s time. And remember, that these finance companies are sensitive to the issue of plastic or cosmetic needs and will provide you excellent and confidential customer service.

With breast implant surgery costing anywhere from $3,000 to $6,000, the amount you will pay back monthly will vary from $130 to $300 a month, with fixed rates making it very affordable for anyone who wants to have this enhancement done. Different finance companies offer different rates of interest which is based on your financial history.

Plastic surgeons will list their financing options on their websites or you can discuss this matter further with the surgeon during your consultation for breast implants.

Breast Implants Financing with M Lend Financial

M-Lend Financial is another financing company available on the market for you to choose as a financing option. You might wish to read this article in your search for further information on breast implants before you even go out and research the breast implant financing options available to you. I found it to be a good read. The article was written by Denise Mann, a health writer based in New York City in March of 2004. Doctors and researchers are seeking better breast implants and experimenting with 'gummy bear' fillers and breast implants covered with a thin coating of titanium. Whether they will achieve this is interesting in itself. As far as I know, this idea has not reached the market yet. If you want an update on breast implant research, it is best to speak with your plastic surgeon regarding implant options available at the current time.

"Many women hoping for a more natural-looking alternative to saline breast implants were disappointed by the Food and Drug Administration's recent decision to maintain the ban on silicone-gel-filled implants. But there may be other options on the market one day, as doctors continue their quest to find better ways to boost a woman's bosom.

Among the most promising developments, they say, are cohesive silicone gel, leak-resistant implants with the consistency of a gummy bear and a new type of implant shell coating that may be less likely to cause inflammation and scarring in the surrounding breast tissue.

“I think we are getting closer to developing the perfect implant, in terms of durability, biocompatibility and natural shape,” says Dr. Mark Jewell, a plastic surgeon in Eugene, Ore., and vice president of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Safety concerns linking ruptures of the silicone gel implants to autoimmune problems in some women caused the FDA to ban the sale of the implants in 1992, except for use in clinical trials and by women undergoing breast reconstruction. While the implants were somewhat exonerated by an Institute of Medicine report saying they do not up the risk of autoimmune disease, the new FDA ban calls for more study before they can be put back on the market.

'I think we are getting closer to developing the perfect implant, in terms of durability, biocompatibility and natural shape.' — DR. MARK JEWELL
American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Both saline- and silicone-filled implants have a silicone shell. But if the saline implants leak, deflate or rupture, which they often do, they would release only salt water -- not silicone -- into the body. The downside of the saline implants, though, is that they don't look and feel as natural as the others.

“Some people are concerned about the safety of silicone gel and many people are disappointed about the performance of saline implants, notably that they are associated with more ripples, have a more liquid feel and don’t look as natural as the silicone implants,” says Dr. Grant Stevens, medical director of Marina Plastic Surgery Associates, with locations in Marina Del Rey and Palos Verdes, Calif.

Enter cohesive gel implants, which are currently on the market in Europe and Brazil, and now being studied in the United States. "The ‘gummy bear’ implants have the positive attributes of the silicone gel, but lack the concerns of gel migration,” says Stevens, who is one of 15 U.S. doctors participating in a study of Silimed cohesive gel implants.

Dr. William P. Adams, Jr., agrees. “The gel doesn’t migrate, so there are potential safety benefits because if the shell should fail, the gel will not go anywhere -- it would just stay in one place,” says Adams, an associate professor of plastic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas."
Read the rest of this article at the MSNBC website.

APFS Financing For Breast Implants

If you are still looking for breast implant financing for whatever reason, most specifically because health insurance does not cover breast implants, APFS Financial may be able to assist you.
APFS Financial accepts credit applications from all patients seeking breast implants with excellent to poor credit ratings. Interest rates at APFS start as low as 5.99% and will vary depending on your actual credit ranking.

Loans can be obtained for amounts of $1,000 to $50,000, with terms of one year to 84 months (seven years). For a simple idea of how this works, your breast implants could cost you as little as three dollars per day. That’s about the same cost as a price of a cup of coffee each day. Breast implant financing is very affordable and when you can’t get all of the money together for the plastic surgeons fee and you don’t want to dig into your valuable savings right away, financing your breast implants is easier when you are able to get a loan for this or any other cosmetic surgery for that matter. You can finally get the breast implants you want sooner, rather than later because by obtaining breast implant financing with these low monthly payment options, not having to put any money down and, no prepayment penalties, why wait?

APFS Financial has been around since 1999, providing loans for people seeking breast implants, medical and dental procedures that their insurance does not or will not cover. How do you go about obtaining breast implant financing? We shall assume that you have already found a plastic surgeon and are now seeking the financing you require. First you complete an online application for a loan form which you can find on their website at apfservices.com or call their office at this toll free number at 866-784-9906. Then you wait while your application is processed. You will then hear back from them with the offer including the amount of your loan, the interest rate and the term. You have the option to accept or reject this offer. APFS will then send the financing to your plastic surgeon and you then can go ahead with your breast implant procedure. It’s so easy!

For plastic surgeons, they will be paid 100% of their fee before the procedure begins. Plastic surgeons can sign up free of charge, there are no monthly fees for being a member of APFS’s database of plastic surgeons. One of the benefit to plastic surgeons for signing up with APFS is that they will get free patient referrals when someone is seeking a surgeon in their area.

With so many options available to women everywhere for financing breast implants, you no longer have to wait for the figure that you’ve always dreamed of.

Breast Implant Financing Options

There are many breast implant financing options available for patients who seek cosmetic breast augmentation to afford the cost of surgery. Breast implants for cosmetic purposes are not covered by health insurance and neither are any related costs. Most of the women who seek breast implants are not able to come up with the cash right away because the surgery is expensive. It is for this reason, that there are financing options available so that having breast implants becomes a possibility for the women who want them.

Breast implants in the United States cost about $3,400 on average. Any breast augmentation procedure cost will vary, depending on many factors including the doctor’s reputation who performs the surgery, geographical area, hospital fees, types of breast implant, etc., etc. There are additional costs to the surgery, including the cost of anesthesia, the hospital fees, the cost of medication and surgical garments. For anesthesia, the fee ranges from $350 - $800. The hospital fees can range from $650 to $1,850 depending on where the surgery is performed.

You may find that some surgeons have in-house financing options. They will set up a payment plan with their patients to help them pay for the cost of breast implant surgery. There may be an interest rate included. Your first option would be to ask the plastic surgeon you have chosen about in-house financing if any.

Many surgeons are working with financial companies in order to provide breast implant financing to help patients pay for breast implant procedures. These financing companies have various plants to clients to pay for breast implants. Their rates may include interest payments, origination fees and a processing fees. These companies grant you affordable repayment rates and help you to build a good credit history. These breast implant financing companies will even grant credit to someone with a bad credit history, but your interest rate will be much higher.

If you have found a surgeon, most will likely let you investigate the best breast implant financing provider with a payment plan that suits you best. Remember to make your payments on time and don’t, whatever you do, default on a single payment or your loan. This will ruin your credit for life and if you need plastic or cosmetic surgery financing in the future (which we all do), you will never be able to find financing again. Remember the benefits of financing your breast implants with a finance company especially set up for this purpose. You don’t have to delay your breast implants, you get them when you want and you are granted easy repayment options over a period of time you can easily afford.

Different Types of Breast Implants

There are so many questions you will have once you decide to have the breast implant surgery done. Do you know what type of breast implants are available for you to choose from when you decide that you need or want breast implant surgery? What types of breast implants are available? What are the differences between the types of breast implants? Is one better than the other? I have done some research on these type of questions and want to provide my readers with some answers so they can make up their minds. This is what you need to known when you first begin to investigate breast implants and before you decide to look into breast implant financing. This has always been the goal of this site – to help readers become totally prepared before they take the big step of actually having breast augmentation of any sort.

Today, there are actually two different types of breast implants on the market available – one being the saline implant and the other is the silicone implant. Breast implants are manufactured by two companies, one of those companies is Mentor and the other company is Allergan. Like everything else, there are benefits and drawbacks to these two types. At your first consultation with your plastic surgeon, do ask the surgeon which breast implant would be better for you and your body. Some breast implants are better for some women and another type of breast implant will suit other women better. If a surgeon tells you that he or she prefers to work with one type of breast implant over the other, then feel free to ask why he or she prefers this type of breast implant.

Saline breast implants have a silicon elastomer shell and are filled with a saline (salt water solution) on the inside. What’s so good about the filling is that saline solution is a closer component to the body. If, by chance, the saline implant leak, the saline solution does not cause issues to the body. It will be absorbed by the body without danger. The saline breast implant is inserted into the breast area and then filled with this sterile saline solution after insertion and then closed by a self sealing valve. Saline breast implants are available in various textures and shapes. The size is determined in cubic centimeters.

As for the different types of saline breast implants, there are Anatomical Saline Implants, Round Saline Implants, Textured and Smooth Saline Implants. Your plastic surgeon will explain to you the differences and benefits between these types of saline breast implants.
The silicone type of implant is comprised of an elastomer silicone shell which is filled with silicone gel. No doubt you have heard of the problems experienced by women some 20 years ago with silicone implants. However, silicone implants today are not like these silicone implants made 20 or 30 years ago and which caused so many health issues for the women that had them done. The silicone implants of today are safer because they are thicker and the gel inside is more cohesive and keeps its shape even if it is subject to being cut into. The problems of the silicone implants in the past is that the silicone gel would have leaked. No such issues like this today. Today’s silicone breast implants are safer.

What about the advantages of the silicone implant today? You will find that they have a more natural shape and feel more natural when touched. They look like natural breasts. With silicone implants, there is less danger than they will “ripple” because of the cohesiveness of the gel inside. Another benefit to silicone breast implants is the many sizes, heights and projections that they are available in. Drawbacks to the silicone model of breast implants is that a bigger incision is necessary because silicone implants come pre-filled. Therefore, a bigger incision is required. Unlike the armpit incision for a saline implant, an incision for a silicone implant is made either under the breast fold or an incision around the areola.

The decision about which type of breast implant you will have is a personal decision between you and your plastic surgeon. Know the advantages and disadvantages of each type of breast implant and then you can decide whether you will have a saline breast implant or a silicone breast implant.

Diagram of the Breast Implant Procedure

Again, I wish for my readers to have the most information about the breast implant procedure. Below you will find a diagram of the breast implant procedure. I have always thought and have spoken about it often, that one needs to acquire as much information as possible before you have your first consultant with the plastic surgeon. This will enable you to have the basic knowledge about breast augmentation procedures and during your consultation with the plastic surgeon, you can ask intelligent questions about breast implants. Gathering knowledge about breast implants or anything else is a wise thing to do in every aspect of life. I have highly recommended that before one undergoes the operation, you gather all the information you need so that you can have your first consultation with the plastic surgeon with some knowledge you have acquired yourself. In this way, you can ask your plastic surgeon all the questions you need to know. This is necessary even before you start deciding how you will finance breast implants.

Breast Implant Financing with Medicard

Medicard is a financing company in Canada which provides breast implant financing. Established in 1996, its goal is to provide financing for elective medical procedures such as breast implants, breast augmentation, and other types of cosmetic and plastic surgery.

If you have decided that you want to get breast implants done immediately, you can start looking for a plastic surgeon at their website if you do not have know of any names of qualified doctors. Medicard’s website allows you to search for a qualified doctor by the speciality, your city, postal code or doctor’s or clinic’s name.

After you have found a doctor to do the breast implants for you and verified that he or she is a qualified plastic surgeon, you can apply for credit at Medicard. Like all other companies that offer breast augmentation financing, once you are approved, Medicard will pay the plastic surgeon first and then you will be responsible for repayment of the loan plus interest on a monthly basis.

Medicard offers competitive interest rates and they have a high approval rate for people applying for credit for breast augmentation financing. With Medicard, it is a totally confidential process, so you don’t have to go through the embarrassment of applying for a loan such as you would have at a bank. And, if you have a high enough credit limit on your credit card, you will not have to pay the same extortionist interest rates that credit cards charge if you decided to put the fee for breast implants on your card. What’s better is that they will not penalize you if you decide to pay back your loan earlier than required.

Plastic surgeons who perform breast implants and other cosmetic procedures can also register and add their names to Medicard’s national database of qualified plastic surgeons. This also makes it easier for patient’s to find a plastic surgeon in their area.

If you have been dreaming of having breast implants in time for summer, consider Medicard if you live in Canada. No longer do you have to wait until you have saved up enough money for breast implants. It is as simple as applying for financing at Medicard and once being approved, you will have the ability to have breast implants done right away. You can apply online at their website at www.medicard.com where there is an application form. You can also call them toll free at 1-888-689-9876 to find out about breast implant financing.

Breast Implants and Self Image

One of the most common cosmetic procedures in all of North America is breast implant surgery. How a woman feels about herself and her self image before the breast implant procedure is very important. It is vital that you understand, if you are considering breast implants, that implants will not change the way you feel about yourself. Breast implants can’t solve all your problems.

A reason for telling my readers this is, a recent study done by Laval University in Canada found that 58 women had committed suicide after they had breast implants and before they reached the age of 50. Their suicides had nothing to do with the breast implant procedure itself, because there are many reasons why an individual decides to end their life. It’s just a scary thing to think about. My advice to you would be to make sure you know why you having the breast implant surgery in the first place.

A recent study in Florida though found for women over 40, breast implants caused increased feelings of sexuality and arousal, no doubt because of an improvement in self image. Women between the ages of 21 to 57 reported an increase in vaginal lubrication, a 63 per cent increase in orgasm intensity, and an 80 per cent increase in arousal. These facts illustrate that body image means so much more to women in general. If she feels sexy and attractive, a woman feels better about herself and definitely more able to enjoy sex. Breast implants can also increase body image and confidence.

Back to the Canadian research on breast implants. This research found that women are enthralled with their breast implants for the first five years after the surgery, but after this time period, a women’s risk of suicide increases dramatically. I’m not sure where they get their figures from.

I think this research is somewhat biased for some reason or other and I have never heard of a woman who received breast implants and ended up feeling this way. Most are overjoyed and feel a higher level of confidence and satisfaction after their surgery. While, it’s true that having breast implants done will definitely not solve all your problems, I hardly think it’s worth killing yourself over it.

The only real problem for most women who want breast implant surgery is how to finance breast implants, whether to save their pennies, put it on the credit card, seek in-house financing at the plastic surgeon’s office or to find out finance companies who extend credit to those seeking breast implant financing.

Jen's Breast Implants Procedure By Dr. Leonard M. Although this may scare you at first, you should be aware of the risks. Researching the subject associated with breast implants and augmentation are a crucial first step before you actually book your cosmetic plastic surgery. When you do consult with your plastic surgeon, you will already be aware of the risks and he or she will further answer any other questions you may have on breast augmentation. This will give you a realistic picture of the process, the risks and benefits of breast augmentation and breast implants.

Infection is an always present whenever anyone has any type of surgery. This is a general risk associated with surgery. Usually a doctor will prescribe you some antibiotics post-surgery to counteract this risk.

You must stop taking ALL herbal supplements, prescription medications and vitamins prior to your breast implant or augmentation surgery or any surgery for that matter. Any of these medications or supplements could affect bleeding. It is very important to prepare your body for the plastic surgery and by stopping the ingestion of any of the above will decrease your risk of hematoma.

Stopping smoking at least two weeks before your surgery is vital. You should discuss with your plastic surgeon the benefits to quitting smoking before the breast implant surgery. One major benefit is that non-smokers will scar less than smokers. Also, for any surgery whatsoever there are increased risks for smokers. Your consultation with your plastic surgeon can explained these risks to you in greater detail. In fact, discuss with your surgeon any lifestyle forms of consumption you may be concerned about which could affect your rate of recovery.

There may be a chance that after breast implants, the breasts may become stretched and change in shape which may not be exactly what you had in mind. Scar tissue may make the breasts feel harder than normal and the scar formation may change the shape of the breasts. You may need follow up surgery to remove the scar tissue. I don’t want to scare you about breast implants, but you must be aware of all of the risks associated with breast augmentation implant surgery.

Breast implants do not last forever. You will need to have them redone every 10 years or so, depending on the individual. One danger is that an implant may break and your breast will become deflated. The fluid in the implant will be absorbed by the body but you will have to have the breast implant redone.

Another danger, although rare is that breast implants may lead to autoimmune diseases. However, this is very rare as a result of breast implants and research has shown that women without breast implants are susceptible to autoimmune diseases as well.

Other risks of breast implants also involve the difficulty of breast cancer screening. Breast implants make mammography somewhat a challenge. However, MRIs and ultrasound can also be used and are better in the case of breast implants to help doctors see breast density and the possible presence of breast cancers.

You could also be at risk for allergic reactions with the presence of a breast implant in your breast. Breast implants are seen by the body as a foreign object and may be rejected. If this was the case, you may have to have the implants removed and breast reconstruction surgery.

A rarely occurring serious side effect could be Nipple Necrosis which is the loss of the nipple and/or areola. Smokers are at a high risk for this problem and for that reason smokers should quit smoking. Besides, quitting smoking will actually help you finance breast implants for yourself, if you have decided to save the money required for breast implants on your own.

Breast symmetry may be a problem with breast implants. This is why you should always book your breast augmentation with an experienced and highly skilled plastic surgeon that has performed many breast implants. It is difficult, just as with natural breasts to achieve perfect symmetry, but this is normal. If you have a friend who has had successful breast implants, ask her who her surgeon was and go with this recommendation.

You may also experience seroma which is the build up of fluid in the breast but this can be resolved by draining in a couple of weeks. You may experience a loss in sensitivity but it is minimal will return in a couple of months. Hematomas could form but they can be surgically removed. You could end up with an inability to breast feed, but you must discuss this with your plastic surgeon because the most updated procedures now will not have an effect on breast feeding.

As with any surgery, scarring can occur. In smokers, this will possibly be more prominent. Luckily today, there are plastic surgery options available to remove scars. Your rate of scarring cannot be predicted.

I don’t want to scare you off the breast implant procedure because there are so many benefits to individuals when they get breast augmentation done. Anyone I have known to have breast implants done has been highly satisfied with the procedure. This is just a list of the potential risks and side effects of breast implant procedures. Of course, you can now go to your plastic surgeon with this list of risks and question him or her further. Only then can you truly decide whether breast implants are right for you. After your research and your discussion with your plastic surgeon, it is time to decide how exactly you are going to finance breast implants.

Breast Augmentation Financing with Credit Medical

Spring has sprung, the flowers are beginning to bloom, coats are coming off and some women are starting to think about getting those breast implants done which they put off last year due to limited financing. This year, some of these women, thinking of summer clothes, fashions which expose more skin, swim suits on the beach, they are more and more determined to get the breast augmentation surgery they have always dreamed of. The problem is breast augmentation financing, which usually comes up after you have finally decided to get breast implants, once and for all.

There are many companies that provide breast implant financing. Credit Medical is one of those companies. Credit Medical includes in their offered services financing for breast augmentation and other elective medical procedures, including both plastic and cosmetic surgery procedures. Their website is at creditmedical.com. This is a Canadian finance company which provides financing for breast implants. You can find out more about their services at their website or else call them at 1-800-270-9290.

Breast augmentation and implants give a woman more confidence about her look. Clothes look better and self esteem is improved. The body becomes more balanced esthetically. However, many women find it difficult to put together enough money all at once and get breast implants. They have probably considered all the options available to pay for breast augmentation. There are credit cards which charge extremely high interest rates if one can’t pay off the whole balance in one month. Banks won’t lend you money for breast implants, let alone any other type of cosmetic or plastic surgery. Besides, it would be terribly embarrassing to apply for a loan at a bank for breast implants and get turned down. As soon as you turn your back and walk away, you can just imagine all the people snickering behind you. Finance companies especially set up to deal with breast augmentation financing and other such cosmetic surgeries, treat you with respect, privacy and they work with plastic surgeons. They specialize in this field of offering financing for plastic and cosmetic surgery needs. Privacy is very important both to you and to the staff at Credit Medical. They offer private, professional service to those seeking financing options. They understand your needs and your goals.

How do you go about getting financing at Credit Medical? If you are a surgeon, you can offer more financing alternatives to your patients by registering. First you register with their company which is without obligation or cost to you. If you are a patient, once you you have applied for breast augmentation financing and have been approved, you can choose the cosmetic procedure that you want and your plastic surgeon will be paid in advance of your surgical procedure. Credit Medical has an online directory of plastic surgeons that perform breast augmentation procedures in your city wherever you live. Plastic surgeons who are not in the registry can apply to be included.

Breast augmentation costs can range anywhere from $2,000 to $25,000 depending on the procedure and whether implants are used and exactly what type of breast implants are used. The cost varies depending on the location of the surgeon, the expertise of the surgeon and hospital charges. Before you seek breast implant financing, you should do you research on the plastic surgeons available in your area, ensuring that they are a registered plastic surgeon and you should also read up on breast implant procedures. Any other questions you may have, you can ask your plastic surgeon when you have your initial consultation.

Finally, this summer, you can look as good as you feel with breast implants to improve your appearance and your confidence. For sure, your appearance will be enhanced. With breast augmentation financing, you no longer have to wait until you have saved and saved your pennies. You can get breast implant financing and go ahead with the surgery you’ve been waiting for.

Breast Implant Financing At Reliance Finance Company

Financing for breast implants also known as breast augmentation or any other type of elective plastic surgery is available at the Reliance Finance Company. Breast augmentation is done by the placement of saline or silicone filled bags within the chest muscles or behind breast tissue.

Despite health risks which were linked to silicone implants in the 1990s, the FDA has approved their usage for breast implants since 2006 for women over the age of 22. Patients seeking breast implants for whatever reason should completely understand the differences between implants made of silicone and those of saline.

Breast implants offer the patient a more balanced physical shape and can be achieved when a patient’s breasts do not develop in the manner that a patient has desired. A patient’s goal is to have a more aesthetic appearance and will result in higher self-esteem and confidence in the patient.

You should discuss the entire procedure with your surgeon prior to the procedure and fully understand what is to be done, the differences between silicone and saline implants and all health risks.

How are Breast Implants Done?

Breast augmentation will be performed with either a local or general anesthesia. Whether you decide on a local or general anesthesia, will be decided by you and your plastic surgeon together.

Once you are under local or general anesthesia, the surgeon will make an incision, either an inframammary incision under the breast, a transaxillary incision near the armpit or a periareolar incision – around the nipple – into which the implant is placed. An incision can also be made through the navel. These different types of incisions have different scarring levels and associated risks. The incision decision will be made by the surgeon which you must discuss prior to the surgery with your doctor.

The surgeon will put the silicon or saline implants either behind or in front of the pectoral muscle. There is a lower chance of rejection of the implants as a foreign object by the body when the implants are placed behind the pectoral muscle. Depending on the patient, the surgeon will determine the best position for the implants depending on your body type. When the implants have been inserted, the surgeon will then close the incision points by surgical tape or other adhesives which close the wound or by sutures so that wound healing can occur.

Recovery After Breast Augmentation

Post operative care begins after the breast implant surgery. Depending on the type of anesthesia used, recovery immediately after surgery could include shivering, vomiting, nausea and disorientation. These are expected outcomes after any surgery. It is usually easier to recover from local anesthesia. You will experience soreness and swollen breasts right after the surgery. The plastic surgeon may place bandages over the incisions as protection of the incision sites.

To promote the healing and reduce swelling, compression garments will be worn for support. You must wear a supportive bra 24/7 for a couple of weeks. Cold ice is used on the incision sites for two days to minimize swelling and bruising. You may notice crusting and a drainage of fluid but this is normal. Discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon.

The drains will be removed a few days after the surgery at your first follow up visit. It is expected that you will have pain after the surgery and you will be prescribed painkiller medication and antibiotics. You will probably need to take a week or more off from work for recovery. You will have mobility after the surgery, but you will need to take some recovery time from your normal activities including work. Recovery times vary depending on each individual patient. You should avoid heavy lifting and raising the arms over the head during the first few weeks after the surgery. Sexual activity should be avoided from anywhere between a few weeks to months depending on your pace of recovery. Each individual patient will experience different recovery times. It is not wise to try and rush your recovery from breast implant surgery.

Breast Augmentation Options for Bad Credit History Scores

A very flexible company for financing breast implants and other cosmetic surgery procedures I have discovered that I want to tell you about is Patientsource.net. I found this company because I had had several inquiries by email about financing breast implants from people with a bad credit history or no credit history at all and I thought I should investigate the options for my readers.

So how do you finance plastic surgery when you know already that your credit history is not exactly that great? Some of the companies that provide financing solutions for breast implant surgery such as CapitalOne or CareCredit will help you with financing if your credit is excellent. For less than a perfect credit history, they will also help you, but they will charge you a higher interest rate on your loan for the cosmetic surgery procedure which means that your procedure will actually cost you more in the long run.

Patientsource.net is a very flexible financing company in this way. For the people who are rejected by a company such as CapitalOne or MyMedicalLoan, Patient Outsource.net offers an alternative. They offer good terms, good interest rates and will decide your interest rate after an investigation reveals your credit score. They promise to offer you the best rate whether you have good, marginal or bad credit. Their lenders work with all credit types. They also offer a service to assist in repairing bad credit or offer a way to repair your credit yourself. Patient Outsource claims that they approve more credit applications than CareCredit and Capital One. Rates of approval from Capital One or GE are at about one third of all applicants. Patient Outsource approves over two thirds of all applications. Another benefit of using Patient Outsource is that you choose the doctor you want for your breast augmentation procedure. Plastic surgeons can also use Patient Outsource.net and keep all their fees for the procedure itself.

How do you apply for financing at Patientsource.net? Is it easy. Go to their website at PatientOutsource.net and you can apply online at PatientSource.net. If you have other questions, you can also contact them at patientsource@comcast.net. You will get a quick response.

Thus, as an answer to my readers who have emailed, yes, it is possible to obtain financing for breast implants and other plastic or cosmetic surgery procedures. If companies such as Capital One or MyMedicalLoan reject your application based on your credit score, then you should apply at Patientsource.net and find out what they can do for you to help you obtain financing for breast augmentation or other plastic surgery options.

More About Breast Augmentation Financing

Whoever came up with the idea of financing breast implants and other plastic surgery was brilliant.

Banks were not interested in financing cosmetic surgery because it was not something that they could repossess like a car or a house in the event that the customer did not pay back the loan. Plastic surgery and the results of an operation cannot provide the bank lender with the collateral they could seize in the event of default of the loan.

• The automobile industry came up with the idea first, to beat the banks with a lower or 0 per cent interest rate

The car companies came out with the idea of financing loans to their customers for their cars – beating the banks with incredibly low interest rates or even “no interest rates” of 0%. In this way, the banks lost a huge segment of the market for car loans because the car dealers offered lower rates to their clients than the banks.

• Banks don't lend money for plastic or cosmetic surgery

Why would they? Banks are into lending money for more concrete things such as businesses, houses, cars, and boats, etc. It would not be a pleasant concept – having to ask some to give back the breast implants because they defaulted on their loan payments.

• Credit cards can be used for breast implant financing

Credit cards can pay for this type of surgery, but credit cards come with a credit limit which might not cover the cost of breast implants and usually credit cards come with a very high interest rate. Finance companies which specialize in plastic surgery financing offer much lower rates than the credit card companies.

As a result of this new type of financing available to the millions of men and women who seek financial assistance for plastic surgery, many financing companies have sprung up to serve this need, taking away a lucrative piece of the market from the banks. What’s more, these companies offer low interest rates and flexible payback options to suit every type of budget. Some of these companies will even offer loans to those with a less than perfect credit score if they have a co-signor. The drawback for people with a bad credit history or no credit history is that the interest rate on the loan will be higher with a less than perfect credit history score.

What’s even better than the banks is that these finance companies offer sensitive and private customer services and work with the doctors who provide the plastic surgery services. Most of them can provide a response to you within 15 minutes of receiving your application online. You can also apply by phone and a response to your application would take no longer than a week. No longer do you have to wait to save up the money needed to finance your breast implants. You now decide when the time is right for you to have breast augmentation surgery performed.

Breast Implants

Once you have decided definitely to get breast implants, but before you look at your options for breast implant financing, you must do the research and find out all the facts about breast implants themselves.

Breast implants are otherwise known as breast augmentation or augmentation mammaplasty in the plastic surgery field. There are various reasons that women seek this kind of surgery including esthetic reasons such as improving the balance between hip to chest ratio, improving self esteem and self image which results in an increase in confidence, restoring breast volume decrease after a large loss in weight or after pregnancy, or as a viable option after mastectomy. Whatever the reason, before you seek a plastic surgeon, you should do the research to find out everything about this procedure. After you have done all the research, your next step would be to seek out a surgeon and go for your first consultation. If you have done all the research, you will have all the right questions to ask him.

There are currently two types of breast implants available for you to choose from. There are pros and cons to each type of implant. You must ask the surgeon what implant would be best for you and your body. Some surgeons prefer to work with one or the other type of implant and you should ask the surgeon his reasons for his or her preference. A particular type of breast implant may appear and feel attractive on one woman but may not suit you. Two companies which manufacture breast implants include Allergan and Mentor.

One type of breast implant is known as a silicone implant which is an elastomer silicone shell filled with silicone gel. These are unlike the silicone implants of the past and are improved in the thickness and cohesiveness of the gel in that it maintains its shape even after being cut into. In the past, the silicone gel would escape from the implant structure.

The benefits of silicone breast implants is that they are naturally shaped, feel natural to the touch, and look like natural breasts. The thickness of the gel makes it less likely to “ripple” and retains its original shape over time. Silicone breast implants come in many projections, sizes and height. The disadvantage of silicone breast implants is that the implant shell is pre-filled making a larger incision necessary. This incision may be made in the fold under the breast or an incision around the areola. They cannot be inserted in an armpit incision.

A saline breast implant consists of a silicon elastomer shell with a saline (salt water solution) inside. Saline solution is similar to the contents of the body and, should the implant leak, the solution will be absorbed by the body without danger. Saline breast implants are inserted empty into the breast and then filled with the sterile saline solution by a self sealing valve. Size is determined in cubic centimeters. These saline implants come in many different shapes and textures.

The different types of saline breast implants include Round Saline implants, Anatomical Saline implants, Smooth Saline implants and Texture Saline implants. Speak with your plastic surgeon about the benefits of these different types of saline breast implants.

The breast implant surgery will be classified as an outpatient procedure, The costs of breast implant surgery range from anywhere between $4,000 to $10,000. Actual breast implants cost between $1,000 to $1,300. The fees for the anesthetologist is approximately $700 to $800. General anesthesia is usually recommended. Charges for your breast implant procedure include the cost of the anesthesia. There will be a fee for the center where your plastic surgery will take place. Other costs involved in the total cost of the breast implant procedure also include your surgeons fee which will be determined by his experience and the geographic location where your surgery will take place.

You will no doubt be happy of your breast implant surgery. The results are immediate. You may have some swelling which will decrease over a two to four week period of time. The incision scars will fade and flatten over a one year period. You should know as well that breast implants do not last for a life time. You must have them checked out by the doctor on a yearly basis to see if they should be replaced.

I hope I have summed up all the basic information you need to know before you make your final decision to get breast implants. I will write a later posting on the different kinds of breast implants and go into more detail later. You can start looking for a plastic surgeon now who is board certified and whose work you know of. Ensure that this doctor is professionally qualified because you should only trust the work of a reputable, fully qualified plastic surgeon. You can also start researching the companies that provide breast implant financing if you do not have the ready-available money. Companies such as CareCredit, My Medical Loan or Capital One Healthcare Financing provide such a service for financing breast implants so you can decide what is the right time for you and WHEN exactly you will have your breast implants done.

Privacy Policy Update for BreastImplantFinancing.Blogspot.com

Update to The privacy of visitors to BreastImplantFinancing.Blogspot.com is important.

BreastImplantFinancing.Blogspot.com uses third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit breastimplantfinancing.blogspot.com. They make it easy to schedule your plastic surgery when you want, forgoing the wait times that may come with having to wait until you had saved up enough money for the procedure. With this kind of assistance, you have more freedom to choose when is the right time for YOU to get the cosmetic procedure done.

Their rates start as low as 1.99% APR and can go up to 25.99% APR* (depending on your credit rating), or alternatively, interest-free loans are available for terms of three, six, 12, 18 or 24 months to applicants with good credit backgrounds. Your payments can be fitted into your budget – low monthly payments you can afford for periods from 18 months to a maximum term of 60 months. As you can see, financing breast implants and other plastic surgery is usually cheaper than the interest rates charged on credit cards. Credit cards should be the last option to consider when seeking breast implant financing – especially because of their high interest rates. Should you wish to repay your loan earlier than the prescribed time, there are no prepayment penalties, definitely an added bonus.

Like many of these finance companies, you can apply online and obtain their decision in minutes. You can also call their company at 1-877-559-5050 for further information and to apply by phone. One of the greatest advantages offered by Capital One is that a decision is made very quickly (usually in just a few minutes) on your application. Capital One HealthCare Finance will lend the client money for any cosmetic or reconstructive surgery that you desire or need in amounts ranging from $1,500 to $25,000.

Your first payment after your breast implants or any other plastic surgery is not due to be paid until a month after Capital One HealthCare Finance has received your signed agreement. The rates, lower than credit cards, are fixed and not variable rates as offered by the credit card companies.

Capital One HealthCare Finance is one of the largest financing companies in the country with a database of over 30,000 plastic surgeons. After you have researched the plastic surgeons your area who you want to perform the breast implant surgery and spoken with your doctor about financing breast implants, check out the financing companies which offer breast implant financing – look at their rates and their terms and see if they work with your surgeon. Luckily there are many companies across the country available that can support your decision with breast implant financing.

Contact

If you have any questions or concerns here at our Breast Implant Financing Site, you may contact us at:

EditorBreastImplants@gmail.com

Breast Implant Financing with My Medical Loan

Another option available for those seeking breast implant financing is a company called “My Medical Loan”. “My Medical Loan” offers consumers a way to pay medical expenses through your surgeon’s office with low monthly payments and flexible payment options. These companies place more power in the consumers’ hands.

CareCredit is much like a credit card, but it is only for the use of paying for plastic surgery and other such health care services. First you must apply online or you can download and print out their application at their website carecredit.com. After you have applied, you will not have to wait long to find out if you are approved or not.

Like any other company that provides breast implant financing, CareCredit has a database of doctors which accept CareCredit financing. If you wish to and are able to finance your breast implants with cash, you do not need to read any further into this article.

In this article we are going to look at the various financing alternatives for plastic surgery. Many alternatives are available to you and one of those options could be an instalment plan that your surgeon may run from his or her office. In this method, you would pay your surgeon on a monthly basis an agreed amount.

The second alternative available to you would be to use your credit card, a credit card that the surgeon would accept for payment. However, the problem with this option might be that your credit card interest rate may range around the 18 – 19% range and this will make your credit card payment for financing breast implants even more than the original price to you.
There are many companies that extend credit for plastic surgery procedures and these companies pay for any type of cosmetic procedure - they do not ask personal questions about what procedure you are going to have. How these operate is that you will, after having your credit application approved, end up payment a monthly payment depending on the total cost of your surgery, your credit rating and the amount of time required to pay back the total loan amount.

This is a wonderful method to get the cosmetic surgery you want now, without having to wait to save up the money for the procedure. So, if your plastic surgeon does not offer in-house credit, you must contact the finance company that includes this surgeon in their plan. Many finance companies will only work with certain plastic surgeons but their lists are growing. Also, keep in mind that just because a plastic surgery credit company includes a certain plastic surgeon in their database, it not mean that this is a qualified and highly skilled surgeon. It is your responsibility to research the skills of a particular surgeon.

Some of the companies that provide financing for plastic surgery include CareCredit, MyMedicalLoan and Capital One Health Care Finance. They will either lend you the money or work in the same way as a credit card. Their rates are low, interest rates ranging from as low as 5.9% with fixed low monthly payments and terms from 12 months to 84 months for any amounts range from $1,000 to $25,000 for every budget. It is even possible for those with a less than perfect credit ratings to find breast implant financing with these companies. In addition, some of these finance companies do not penalize you for prepayment. For exact details, you must contact these companies to find out what financing terms are available to finance breast implant surgery.

The good news is that many more financing opportunities are available for you today, making financing breast implants more affordable than it has ever been before. There is no reason for you to put off this cosmetic procedure any longer.

TheTotal Cost of Breast Implants

Financing Your Breast Implants

Factors that affect the total cost of breast implants can include several factors which will influence the total amount dollar wise of your breast implant procedure.

Plastic surgeons will charge differing amounts depending on such things as the geographic location of the surgeon’s office. Also, depending on the skills of a particular plastic surgeon, if he or she is highly skilled resulting in an increased demand for his or her services will also influence the cost of breast implants. Also, a plastic surgeon will include in the fee the total amount of time and effort that your breast implants may require.

One must also consider into the cost of financing breast implants the charge that the anaesthesiologist will charge. There may also be charges for the operating fees, the mount of time you require to stay in the surgical center or hospital. There may also be some lab fee costs worked into the price of breast implants. And included in the cost is the type of breast implants that are used in your surgery.

During your initial consultation with the plastic surgeon, make sure that you ask him or her about the total costs involved in your breast implant procedure.

Once you have a breakdown of the total cost of breast implants, you can decide how you are going to pay for the procedure. Your options could include your savings, credit cards, the surgeon’s in-house credit plan or health care patient financing which are credit companies set up specifically for plastic surgery clients.

Because of the convenience of payment options for any type of plastic surgery is now much easier for anyone to get the plastic surgery they want and need without having to wait while they save up the money for surgery. It used to be a fact of life that plastic surgery was exclusively the domain of millionaires, movie stars and models. Nowadays, ordinary people like you and I are able to get the plastic surgery when we want because of the many ways of financing plastic surgery. Also, the price of plastic surgery has come down somewhat due to the demand on the services of the plastic surgeon.

If you live in the United States, companies that finance plastic surgery include Care Credit or Medical Loan. How are you going to come up with the money for breast implants? You have probably been thinking about breast implants, a plastic surgery option for a very long time. You dream about it. You might even obsess about it. You find yourself staring enviously at other women with larger breasts.

You have probably been doing lots of research on the subject of breast implants via the internet, magazine articles, talking to trusted friends and relatives. You have been looking around for plastic surgeons in your city. When you hear of someone getting plastic surgery, you want to hear their opinion about the plastic surgery results they obtained. You want to know how they feel after they have had their plastic surgery. Were they happy with their results? You’ve gathered all the knowledge. You’ve compared before and after photographs of plastic surgery results on the internet and plastic surgery industry magazines. You’ve researched the cost for breast implants. You’ve found a couple of plastic surgeons whose work you admire. You’re ready to visit these plastic surgeons you have decided to go to for your first consultations. You’ve checked out their reputations and their work. You know that the plastic surgeons you have chosen have good reputations and belong to an accredited organization such as the American Board of Plastic Surgery or The Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons. Each of these organizations have certain requirements which ensure that a plastic surgeon is qualified to perform plastic surgery.

However, after doing all this “legwork”, there is one thing holding you back. The price. How do you finance breast implants? The price for breast implant surgery can range anywhere from $3000 to $10,000. The price varies depending on the surgeon doing the work, if your surgery will take place in a hospital or in the surgeon’s office, what anesthetic is used, the city where you are planning to have the breast implants performed and the country where you will be having your surgery done.

The average total cost of breast implants can range anywhere from $3,000 all the way up to $10,000. The one thing that has been holding you back has been the cost. You may have even started a savings account just for this purpose, but with the cost of daily living, it seems to be a long way off. However, you don’t have to put off the one thing in your life that you feel will improve the quality of your life and the way you feel about yourself and your life.

After your initial consultations with several surgeons, you feel you have gathered the information you need to make a decision on which plastic surgeon to go with for your breast implant procedure. You are satisfied with your decision and now the question arises – how do I finance breast implants?

There are several options available for financing breast implants. The first option is to pay cash but this is a problem for several reasons. It may take a long time to come up with the extra money for breast implant financing. Another option is to place the breast implant surgery on your credit card, but this too may cause another stretch on your budget and the surgery may cost you even more because of the typically high interest rates on credit cards. However, putting your breast implant surgery on your credit card may be an option to consider.

Why wait to have your plastic surgery done when there are other options available to you? You can have your breast implant surgery done now and experience an increase in your self esteem and your quality of life. First you could check out your health insurance policy to see if they will cover any part of breast implant procedure. Your health insurance policy will probably not cover any part of a breast implant procedure because it is an “elective” surgery which is a surgery that you have chosen to do, not one that is medically necessary. Therefore, this is probably not an option to consider for breast implant financing. It is also considered a cosmetic surgery in that it will improve your looks. Breast implant financing can be done by first asking your plastic surgeon if they have an in-house credit program. If they do, you can choose this option for your breast implant financing.

The other options for breast implant financing available to you are health care patient financing and this is what will we will discuss in my next posting because it is a very viable option and will ensure that you get breast implants sooner rather than later.

<o:smarttagtype namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" name="PlaceName"></o:smarttagtype><o:smarttagtype namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" name="PlaceType"></o:smarttagtype><o:smarttagtype namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" name="country-region"></o:smarttagtype><o:smarttagtype namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" name="place"></o:smarttagtype><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml>
